more of the famous prints by the Scottish painter and traveler David
Roberts (1796–1864). Both are showing Karnak probably Robert's
favorite subject. It's above all the colossal size of the ruins
reducing men to ants. It's easy to see that he still has an enormous
influence on fantasy painters.

Surrealist Disasters
Two
works by the Russian-Canadian artist George Grie (born 1962). Grie
specializes in 3D, 2D, and matte painting images. He is strongly
influenced by famous surrealists such as René Magritte and Salvador
Dalí.
