I Dannati Della Catastrofe (Damned by the Catastrophe) is an Italian comic book published in July 1975. Despite it's a real bad, bad comic the cover is quite good.

Ruin Monuments

In the French village Oradour-sur-Glane a German Waffen-SS company massacred all inhabitants including women and children in Summer 1944 and burned the village down. The ruins of the village were later preserved as a permanent memorial. It's kind of an eerie place, death and devastation still present. But to achieve that effect the ruins have artificially to be kept clean, meaning the streets swept, the lawns cut and much more. Without this work nature would have taken over and covered all with trees.

Deus Irae

Deus Irae (Wrath of God) is a post-apocalyptic science fiction novel by Philip K. Dick and Roger Zelazny. It was published in 1976. It's much about religious fanatism after a nuclear war. Anyway, the cover is impressing
